Leadership

The true leadership of this church is found in the membership of our community. The Diaconate is an elected group of deacons responsible for leading the spiritual and administrative matters of the church but accountable to the whole membership of the church. The Diaconate works together with the Senior Pastor to guide, discern and oversee the goals and vision of the church. However, all major matters and final actions are decided by the full church membership. 

At JBC we believe in giving voice, ownership and leadership to everyone in our community as best we can. We also rely on our membership to proactively take ownership of their place in our community and to share their gifts, voice and presence with us. JBC is here to love God, love neighbor and live in the way of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
